using your template :

Downloading, opening & contents

After you've found the template you want to use click the download link and your download will start, usually file sizes aren't very big so your download will be quick (depending on your connection), you will need a archiving tool to open this file as it will be in zip format, we recommend Winzip for this but others can be found.

Inside the zip file you will find a few different files and folders. They are as follows ;

  • index.html (the main site page containing all code)
  • usage.txt (gives you abit of info about using the template)
  • style folder (folder containing style.css which contains the templates style coding)
  • img folder (folder containing all the sites .gif images/graphics)
  • PSD folder (not every template will include PSD folder but if your selected one does then inside will be .PSD files that can be opened and edited in Adobe Photoshop)

Customising graphics

If you have a PSD file or a selection of PSD files included in your template then you can easily edit the graphics using Adobe Photoshop.p>

Customising contents

To edit the contents of your templates you will need a HTML editor to first open the index.html file that is included with your template, from here you will need to find the content that you want to edit and edit it.

Use these when adding content for best results.

Getting your template online

The first thing you'll need before uploading is a FTP client, you'll then need somewhere to host it, a web host can be found on various other sites.
